Announcement of candidacy to select the best works of doctoral students
Call for applications for the selection of the best doctoral student work
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is launching a call for applications for the selection of (03) best work of doctoral students who will be rewarded during a ceremony which will be organized on the occasion of the celebration of the national student day of 19 May 2024.
The selection process should be carried out in accordance with the following guidelines :
1. Eligibility criteria :
The competition is open to doctoral students who complete the 4 following conditions :
1°) Doctoral students regularly registered in respect of the academic year 2023-2024 ;
2°) Doctoral students working on a Doctoral theme registered in one of the 3 national strategic axes to know : Energy Security, Food Safety and Citizen Health ;
3°) Doctoral students having not yet defended their theses in date of 18 avril 2024 (closing date for applications);
4°) Doctoral students with at least one SCOPUS B rank publication.
– Successive selections at levels : Local (3/establishment), Regional (3/region) then National (3 first among the 09 selected by the CRUs).
-Evaluation of files by a commission established within each establishment composed of the VRPG/DAPG and the VDPG/head of department in accordance with the evaluation grid (See lth file).
-Ranking will be based on the equivalent annual score.
- The evaluation of candidate files is carried out, by calculating the scores obtained by doctoral students (total points) and are divided by the number of years of registration to obtain the annual equivalent score.
- The ranking of candidates in descending order based on the calculation of the annual equivalent score. In case of a tie, the results of the evaluation of the publications will be taken into account.
